Ratatan, the upcoming rhythm roguelike action game from Game Source Entertainment, TVT, and Ratata Arts, has just received a fresh gameplay trailer ahead of its 2025 launch. As the spiritual successor to the Patapon series, it blends rhythm-based mechanics with side-scrolling action. Players lead an army of Ratatan characters, executing musical commands in sync with the beat to control attacks and abilities.

Gameplay Features

While staying true to its rhythmic roots, Ratatan introduces modern movement mechanics for a more dynamic experience. It also features online multiplayer for up to four players, powered by TVT’s Theory Engine. The game will support multiple languages, including:
