Obsidian Entertainment’s highly anticipated first-person RPG, Avowed, is scheduled for release on February 18, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. The game will be available on day one for Game Pass subscribers.
In a recent interview, game director Carrie Patel confirmed that Avowed can achieve up to 60 frames per second (FPS) on the Xbox Series X. This announcement addresses earlier concerns about the game’s performance capabilities.
Set in the Living Lands of the Eora universe, Avowed offers players an expansive world filled with diverse environments and ecosystems. Players will have the freedom to mix and match weapons and spells, tailoring combat to their preferred playstyle.
For those eager to delve into the adventure ahead of the official release, the Premium Edition of Avowed provides up to five days of early access, along with additional content such as two premium skin packs and access to the digital artbook and original soundtrack. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can upgrade to this edition at a discounted rate.
